Help!!

Here are a few pointers
which we hope will help you out..

• IMPORTANT: Make sure that when you go to the "Options" menu in your browser, under "Network Preferences", that in the "Cache" menu, you have the "verify documents" option (or "check documents" option if you have a Mac), set to "every time". This may sound confusing, but if you don't do this, you may run into problems with being timed out, and you will also see the same messages on the screen every time you chat, which could get kind of boring!
  
  
• For problems with your password: If you have been having trouble remembering or properly entering the password, you might want to try just copying it from the e-mail we sent you, and pasting it in the box when you are prompted for a password. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive and must be typed exactly as they appear in the email sent to you...ie; PASSWORD is different from Password.
  
  
• LYNX users:You have to use the "x" key instead of return to follow the link without cache in lynx. Otherwise, it does not even contact our server to see if there are any new messages.
  
  
• Pictures Slow Me Down!!!! You can turn off the "auto load images" option in your browser or just hit the escape button (on a MAC it's command-.), to stop the pictures from loading in...you will still get all messages!
  
  
• The Text Color is strange: If you are having trouble reading the text in a room, you may want to set up your monitor correctly at http://www.channel1.com/support/gamma.html
